Symptoms following bilateral inguinal hernia surgery?
After inguinal hernia repair, there are many reasons for a full feeling of inflamed regions. Most common is simply the incision healing - which takes 8 weeks. Second is the body's expected reaction to mesh which also takes several weeks to resolve. Lastly, is a small seroma/hematoma- near the prior hernia sac. These are benign fluid collections that slowly resolve in the first two months. READ MORE
Is it OK to sleep on your side after inguinal hernia surgery?
It is absolutely OK to sleep on the side of an inguinal hernia, before and after repair. Depending on the technique used, there may or may not be an incision in that region. READ MORE
Post surgery?
Should be able to use CPAP if there were no bleeding complications. You may not require CPAP once your swelling resolves, given the "extra" tissue resected. READ MORE
Complication after c section?
I suspect the fluid collection will require drainage- either percutaneously (with a needle) or more likely an incision thru part of the recent C-Section wound. In terms of cause, I am not sure what "immunity" means. Post-op seromas and abscesses are quite common. READ MORE
