Dr. Randall D. Rogers, MD, FACS, a distinguished colon and rectal surgeon with over 50 years of experience, is making a significant impact in the field of surgical oncology at the START Center for Cancer Care in San Antonio, Texas. He operates out of the McCullough location and is affiliated with the San Antonio Colon and Rectal Clinic at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital.

A native Texan born in San Antonio, Dr. Rogers has established himself as a leading expert in his field through a remarkable academic and professional journey. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the University of Texas at Austin in 1972 and went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio - Long School of Medicine in 1977. Dr. Rogers further honed his skills during his internship, residency in general surgery, and fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas from 1977 to 1983.

Board certified in colon and rectal surgery, Dr. Rogers holds the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is also board certified in surgery, with designation as a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. 

As an esteemed member of the medical community, Dr. Rogers actively participates in professional organizations such as the Texas Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons (Fellow - FACS). His dedication to advancing the field of colon and rectal surgery is evident in his compassionate patient care and commitment to ongoing education and research.
