Education: Dr. Tovmasian completed her undergraduate degree in 2001 from Columbia University with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. She then attended St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she was a member of Iota Epsilon Alpha, the international medical honor society and she graduated with her Medical Degree in 2007. Giving her over a decades worth of experience in her field.

Experience: After obtaining her Medical Degree Dr. Tovmasian completed her internship and Obstetrics and Gynecology residency from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, during which she received the Residency Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. She is board certified in American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. To stay up to date in her field she remains a American Medical Association and a board member of the Armenian American Health Professionals Organization.

Current Position: Dr. Tovmasian currently practices at the Northern Jersey Obstetrics & Gynecology. She is also affiliated with the Holy Name Medical Center.

Obstetrics and Gynecology: Obstetrician-gynecologists (OB/GYN) are physicians who possess special knowledge, skills and professional capability in the medical and surgical care of the female reproductive system and associated disorders, enables them to serve as consultants to other physicians and as primary physicians for women.
