Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Cataract Specialist Strengthens Mohave Eye Center’s Vision Services

Dr. Mark Stradling, DO—a distinguished ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon—continues to enhance eye care services in Kingman through his leadership at Mohave Eye Center. Fluent in Spanish and with over 15 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Stradling brings advanced surgical skills and a commitment to patient-centric, cutting-edge ophthalmology.

Dr. Stradling earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Spanish from the University of Arizona before obtaining his Doctor of Osteopathy at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, where he served as chief resident and Council of Residents chair-elect. He also received recognition for his clinical research on medications used during cataract surgery.

As a board-certified specialist, Dr. Stradling excels in comprehensive ophthalmology, including cataract extraction, glaucoma management, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and pterygium surgery. He serves as a clinical trainer at Valley Hospital’s Ophthalmology Residency Program and holds active memberships with leading professional medical associations in ophthalmology and osteopathy.

“Providing compassionate, precise eye care is my passion,” said Dr. Stradling. “From cataract surgery to chronic eye conditions, my goal is to empower patients to preserve and improve their vision through informed, personalized treatment plans.”

Outside the clinic, Dr. Stradling enjoys family time in Henderson, NV, and gives back to the community through pro bono vision screenings and church volunteering. His dynamic background as an educator, surgeon, and advocate exemplifies Mohave Eye Center’s dedication to excellence in vision care.
