An established neurosurgeon, Dr. Taleghani is in practice at Maui Brain & Spine in Wailuku, Hawaii. Pertaining to his educational background, Dr. Taleghani attended Georgetown University for his undergraduate studies as well as medical school. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) during his first year of medical school. He then went on to complete his internship at Georgetown University, followed by a residency in neurosurgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in neurosurgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery, whose broad aim is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards, and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.

Most recently, he provided leadership to Neurostat and Pinnacle Surgical Partners in Hermitage, TN, as Chief Executive Officer. He also served as the Director of Neurosciences at Summit Medical Center, is a member of many esteemed national medical organizations, and is a highly sought-out instructor for surgeons worldwide and published author.
