An experienced obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Thorp tends to patients at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He specializes in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) and has expertise in all high-risk pregnancies and preconception counseling.

To boot, he works full-time as a MFM specialist from his home in Gulf Breeze, Florida. In his home region, he is involved with a pro bono MFM and health care practice to those who request his assistance. Most recently, he has focused on pro bono care for the outpatient therapies of COVID19.

Back in 1979, Dr. Thorp graduated with his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in obstetrics & gynecology from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in 1983. Later, he completed his fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

A keen researcher, he has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed abstracts and manuscripts, none of which have been funded by the pharmaceutical cartel. His most recent publications have focused on the outpatient therapies of COVID19, the use of ozone, and the energetics fields of the human body.
