Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Arnold earned his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his internship and residency at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center.

Following his education, he worked at the Cleveland Clinic for six years, before operating a private practice for several years. He then rejoined the Cleveland Clinic before heading back to Illinois and joining the Blessing Health System.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, he is board-certified in cardiothoracic surgery by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, an American surgical organization devoted to surgery of the chest.

Moreover, Dr. Arnold is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
