He then went on to complete two consecutive fellowships in hematopathology and advanced hematopathology at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathology (FASCP), the doctor is board-certified in anatomic & clinical pathology and hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology. It is one of 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an active member of the International Clinical Cytometry Society, the Society for Hematology Education, the American Society of Hematology, and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
Hematopathology or hematopathology is the study of diseases and disorders affecting and found in blood cells, their production, and any organs and tissues involved in hematopoiesis, such as bone marrow, the spleen, and the thymus.
