Dr. Pauli is a board-certified physiatrist, who considers the most appealing aspect of his specialty to be the ability to help his patients regain their quality of life. In addition to his affiliation with WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital, he serves patients at Wellspan Physiatry in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
As a part of WellSpan Health, Wellspan Physiatry offers both inpatient and outpatient services to help reduce patients’ pain and improve their quality of life.
In 2008, Dr. Pauli earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He then went on to pursue his internship at UPMC - McKeesport, followed by his residency at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
Before long, the doctor became board-certified in brain injury medicine, and physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The ABPMR was established in 1947 as the certifying body for the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation under the American Board of Medical Specialties. The Board certifies both allopathic and osteopathic physicians.
When asked why he chose a career in medicine, Dr. Pauli answered, “Human physiology is like a very challenging puzzle that is cognitively stimulating and rewarding to be able to assist people to find answers and hope.”
