With offices in Oakland Park and Hollywood, Florida, Ventre Medical Associates is a full-service psychiatric clinic offering expert consultation, evaluation, and treatment of mental health disorders. Dr. Ventre and his staff focus on each patient’s specific disorder and address it with evidence-based treatment, including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, medication management or partner referral. Utilizing the most up-to-date psychiatric techniques, they specialize in a variety of treatments for every stage of life: children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, substance abuse patients, and addiction recovery patients. The ultimate goal at Ventre Medical is to offer the tools patients need to live fuller, more satisfying lives.
At just 16 years old, Dr. Ventre began his studies at The University of Puerto Rico, earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Science. From there, he went on to obtain his medical degree from The San Juan Bautista School of Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Upon graduation, he completed his residencies at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, the Cabrini Medical Center for Internal Medicine and Psychiatry, and the University of Florida Psychiatry Program.
His experiences as a young hospital volunteer sparked a lifelong passion for patient care that still serves patients today. He dreamed of opening his own private practice and that dream became a reality in 2011. He also serves as President and Principal Investigator of Research Centers of America, which he opened in 2012, and Chairman of Psychiatry at Broward Health Medical Center.
Named a “Most Compassionate Doctor” by Vitals.com in 2011 for his accomplishments, Dr. Ventre has been featured several times on the CNN Latino news show Cala to discuss mental health disorders and treatments.
The doctor is board-certified in psychiatry the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
