Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Brian Eades, who serves patients in Texas.
As one of Texas’ most sought-after cardiologists, Dr. Eades is known for helping patients with mild to very complex heart conditions. He specializes in treating high blood pressure, arrhythmia, heart attack, atrial fibrillation, and more at his private practice, CorCareTx.
With offices in McKinney and Greenville, CorCareTX was started in 2016 to serve the patients with coronary conditions in the North Texas area. The cardiology practice specializes specifically in interventional cardiology, as well as general cardiology, congestive heart failure, and advanced lipid analysis. Its mission is “to transform and improve your healthcare experience through a culture of caring, quality, safety, innovation, and excellence.”
Having been in practicing interventional cardiology since 2005, Dr. Eades prides himself on providing high-quality care to all his patients. He strongly believes in having the best interest of the patient as the only focus during his care. Likewise, he is committed to not compromising the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship and ensuring that patients feel that they are getting what they paid for and rightfully deserve, no matter where health-care reform goes.
Focused on patient care and dedicated to excellence and compassion, he is affiliated with Medical City McKinney, Medical City Dallas, and McCamey County Hospital District.
Academically, Dr. Eades excelled in his medical degree program at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. He went on to complete his internship, residency, and fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
Because he knew he had a passion for helping patients with difficult heart conditions, he specialized in interventional cardiology. Dr. Eades had to go through extensive training in cardiovascular disease, including congenital heart disease. The practice of interventional cardiology allows him to diagnose and treat heart problems through the use of catheters, including angioplasty and stenting procedures.
A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), he is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
In addition to reading the latest cardiac scientific journals and literature, Dr. Eades both regularly attends and participates in lectures and continuing cardiac education. This allows him to be up-to-date on the latest in cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic care and techniques.
Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
In honor of his clinical expertise, Dr. Eades is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), and On-Time Doctor Award (2014, 2015, 2018).
