Dr. Chahine is widely recognized as an innovator in the field of periodontics. She is currently serving patients at Cityview Periodontal Centre, located in Regina, Canada. Dr. Chahine and the experienced team of professionals at Cityview Periodontal Centre use state-of-the-art equipment, practice minimally invasive surgical techniques, and offer sedation for surgical procedures. Their goal is to help patients maintain their teeth for life.

Dr. Chahine is also affiliated with Dr. Hakim Dental, located in Ontario, Canada. With offices in Windsor and Kingsville, the staff at Dr. Hakim Dental educate each patient on the state of their dental health, what procedures need to be done, and how those procedures will be accomplished. They are committed to making each patient’s dental health care experience a pleasant one.

Dr. Chahine received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2005 from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science (MS) degree and Certificate in Periodontology from the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Chahine was a part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the University of Detroit Mercy for 6 years.

Dr. Chahine is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, FRCD(C). A Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada is a dentist who has successfully completed the National Dental Specialty Examination (NDSE), has been awarded a Fellowship diploma, has subscribed to the declaration, has paid the prescribed fees, and is in good moral and ethical standing in the profession.

Dr. Chahine is a Diplomat from the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty and who is certified by the American Board of Periodontology.

Periodontology or periodontics is the specialty of dentistry that studies supporting structures of teeth, as well as diseases and conditions that affect them. The supporting tissues are known as the periodontium, which includes the gingiva, alveolar bone, cementum, and the periodontal ligament. A periodontist, like Dr. Chahine, is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants.

With over 8 years of experience in her field, Dr Chahine utilizes her knowledge and expertise to deliver utmost quality and cutting edge service to her patients. She has a very outgoing personality and attributes her success to her love for what she does.

Dr. Chahine is the oldest of three siblings. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, rafting, and being outdoors.

In addition to English, Dr. Chahine speaks Arabic and French.
