He is an active member of the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the Heart Failure Association of the ESC, ASAIO, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. He is the Cardiovascular Section Editor for ASAIO Journal, and serves in editorial roles for several other scientific publications.
