The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the  University of Medicine 1, Yangon in Burma in 1968. He then relocated to the United States, performing his internship at Somerset Medical Center and his residency at Doctors Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he served as chief resident from 1973-1974. 

Furthering his training, Dr. Myaing performed fellowships in cardiology and cardiovascular disease at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and Deborah Heart and Lung Center in 1976.

With a commitment to excellence in heart health, he is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
