At his private practice, Joshua A. Halpern, MD, PA, in Tampa, Florida, he helps to highlight each person’s natural beauty and offers a range of surgical procedures for both men and women. He helps his patients to refine their bodies, from the most minute changes to major transformations, all through cosmetic surgery.  

Recognized as an innovator and an artist, Dr. Halpern is devoted to giving his patients the most proven and beneficial techniques available. He named his signature procedure The Millennial Facelift, a procedure he pioneered, and one that employs smaller incisions than a traditional facelift. He also invented The Finesse Technique℠ and the Malibu Tummy Tuck, which have helped many of his patients feel better about their physical appearance with improved healing and natural-looking results.

The doctor’s pursuit of perfection on behalf of his patients is a lifelong mission. He was raised in Beverly Hills, California where he was an art student at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, after which he did his plastic surgery training in New York. 

Making it his priority to be there for his patients each step of the way, Dr. Halpern is proud that during the time he has been in practice, he has taken his plastic surgery education and skills to a whole new level. He has invented new instruments and new techniques, as well as has taken the latest technology in cosmetic surgery to new heights, thereby benefiting his patients along the way. 

A firm believer that the human touch is timeless, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm with groups whenever he can (WEDU’s Speaking of Women’s Health, where he spoke on “Cosmetic Surgery Dreams Can Come True”).  He has also presented to other plastic surgeons at meetings on topics ranging from “Endoscopic Facial and Breast Surgery” to “Endoscopic Facial Surgery: Minimally Invasive Cheek Midface.”

With extensive knowledge in his field, Dr. Halpern is board-certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS). The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification, and continuous certification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists. 

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
