Chiropractor
151 Kalmus Drive Suite E-130 Costa Mesa CA, 92626About
Dr. Kristi Vaughan specializes in Functional Medicine. In her twenties, she was introduced to natural approaches to health. She had always been healthy and athletic, therefore this health model resonated to her core. Shortly after, she began working in the health care industry. In school to achieve her doctorate, due to her own health reasons, she started taking Functional Medicine Courses. With the Functional Medicine education she applied what she learned to her own health. She discovered Heavy metal toxicity after her mercury fillings were replaced, which created an array of symptoms from body aches, fatigue, and brain fog, which resolved after treatment of heavy metlas.
Dr. Vaughan helps you to determine what is the root cause of the problem that keeps you from vitality. She helps patients with diabetes, autoimmune disease, thyroid, digestion issues, mold, environmental issues, cognitive decline or the average person who wants to stay healthy. In our office we implement diagnostic test, food senstivity test, stool test, adrenal hormone test, mold test, heavy metals test and more to help determine root causes which help create an individualized treatment plan.
Dr. Vaughan holds many post-graduate certifications in nutrition, functional medicine, QEEG (brain mapping), Neurofeedback (brain training), applied kinesilology, and other modalities. Dr. Vaughan was awarded the 2016 Award of Excellence in Holistic Medicine, and in 2023 she received Women in Medicine Top Doctor Award.
