Get to know Allergist and Immunologist Dr. Michael G. Sheehan, who serves the population of New York. Dr. Sheehan graduated with his Medical Degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 1984, giving him over three decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his medical degree he completed his internal medicine residency with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the Allegheny General Hospital – Western Pennsylvania Hospital. Wanting to further his training he completed his Rheumatology Fellowship with the University of Rochester. Dr. Sheehan is dual certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Sheehan currently practices with the Allergy, Asthma, & Rheumatology Associates and is affiliated with Clay Medical Center, St Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, and Crouse Hospital where he holds an expertise in Allergy and Immunology. Allergy and Immunology is the practice of treating, managing and diagnosing allergies, asthma, and immunologic disorders such as primary immunodeficiency disorders.
