What do you attribute your success to?

  • Keeping the patient at the center of all the treatments and training and the management of patient care--that is the key to success. When I was the family member of a patient it helped me understand what my patients and families are experiencing, and that empathy helps me keep my patients in the center of everything; I teach the students that I work with that listening to their patient's stories are key because when you learn to listen, you will discover clues about what is really happening.
