Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Steven Berlin, who serves patients in Lewes, Delaware.

A member of Beebe Healthcare’s medical staff, Dr. Berlin is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist at Beebe Women’s Healthcare Bayside in Lewes, Delaware. He provides gynecology and gynecologic surgery for his patients, as well as robotically assisted surgery options with Beebe’s Center for Robotic Surgery. 

Back in 1983, Dr. Berlin graduated with his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School — Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He then went on to perform his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, also in Chicago, in 1988. 

With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

Honoring his clinical expertise, Dr. Berlin is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009, 2010) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2009, 2010).
