Get to know Prosthodontist Dr. Bradley A. Purcell, who serves patients in Worthington, Ohio.

A highly trained prosthodontist, Dr. Purcell sees patients at his private practice - Spectrum Dental and Prosthodontics - in Worthington, Ohio. His practice focuses on providing a high level of care in a warm and caring environment. He and his team are dedicated to providing their patient’s an optimal experience from the moment they call the office.

The caring and highly trained team of Worthington dentists at Spectrum Dental and Prosthodontics are focused on delivering the highest quality treatment and service. Their mission is to provide all of their patients with consistent, high-quality care in a comfortable and pleasant environment. They do this by maximizing the three main facets of their practice: team, facility, and education.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Purcell received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2002, and earned his Specialty in Prosthodontics Certificate and Master of Science degree from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 2005. He graduated with honors from both universities and is a member of three academic honor societies.

On a professional level, he runs the Spectrum Dental Society, a continuing education AGD Certified study club dedicated to providing high-level education to area dentists and has a lecture facility attached to and affiliated with Spectrum Dental and Prosthodontics. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of Osseointegration, and the American College of Prosthodontists.

With a passion for teaching, Dr. Purcell serves as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry and lectures nationally in the area of dental implants and dental prosthodontics. He also continues to publish articles in peer-reviewed journals in the area of dental implants and is an Editor for the 'International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants,' the world’s foremost dental implant scientific journal and the official journal of the Academy of Osseointegration.

Prosthodontics, also known as dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. Prosthodontists specialize in replacing missing teeth and associated oral structures by determining the type of dental prostheses required, having customized dental prostheses manufactured, and fitting them in patients’ mouths. They also treat temporomandibular disorders and various issues associated with damaged and problematic teeth.

As a private practitioner, Dr. Purcell has repeatedly been the recipient of the Columbus Best Dentists Award, and America’s Best Dentists Award.
