Dr. Ngu graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 2000, giving him nearly two decades of experience in his field. After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency with the University of Maryland Medical Center’s Shock Trauma Center. Wanting to further his training he completed his Orthopedic Surgery of the Spine Fellowship with the University of Louisville Leatherman Spine Center. Dr. Ngu is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. To stay up to date in his field he remains a professional member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the North American Spine Society, and the Texas Orthopaedic Association. He was named one of America’s top orthopedists by Consumers’ Research Council of America in 2012 and one of Houston’s Top Doctors by H Texas Magazine in 2014.
