Bringing Extensive Experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder Treatment to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital

Grand Rapids, Michigan – Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital proudly highlights the ongoing contributions of Benjamin Kennert, Ph.D., LP, LBA, BCBA, a valued member of its team of pediatric professionals. As a Licensed Psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, Dr. Kennert brings extensive expertise in delivering comprehensive behavioral services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). His continued work reflects Corewell Health’s commitment to enhancing the quality of care for its youngest patients and their families.

Dr. Kennert began his academic journey at Western Michigan University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2011. His passion for understanding the complexities of childhood development led him to Central Michigan University, where he completed his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in School Psychology in 2018. His educational background equips him with a robust foundation in both psychological theory and practical application.

Dr. Kennert launched his professional career in August 2018 as a Program Supervisor at the Autism Centers of Michigan in Northern Michigan, where he oversaw clinical programming and provided support to children and families navigating the challenges of autism spectrum disorders. His dedication to improving outcomes for children with ASD continued as he joined Monarch Behavioral Health, PLLC in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, in January 2020, where he applied his expertise as a Licensed Psychologist and Behavior Analyst.

From December 2020 to January 2025, Dr. Kennert continued his vital work in behavioral health at Developmental Enhancement Behavioral Health in Holland, Michigan, offering comprehensive psychological services and behavior analysis. 

Now serving as a Pediatric Psychologist at Corewell Health, Dr. Kennert is committed to delivering evidence-based care that empowers children and their families. His approach integrates the latest research with compassionate support, ensuring that each child receives personalized treatment tailored to their unique needs.
