He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colgate University in 1988, followed by a role as an international banker at Citibank. His medical journey continued with a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program at Columbia University, culminating with a Medical Degree from Saint George’s University School of Medicine in 1996. He further specialized in geriatrics through a fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 1997 and solidified his business acumen with an Executive MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business in 2004.

Recognized for his exceptional contributions to healthcare, Dr. Gupta has received numerous accolades, including being named one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurs by C-Suite Spotlight in 2022 and receiving the Top Doctor Award from Findatopdoc in 2017.
