Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Joshua R. Hall, who serves patients in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. 

Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, Dr. Hall is a family practitioner who is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Currently, the doctor is practicing at Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. Atrium Health, formerly Carolinas HealthCare System, is one of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations, connecting patients with on-demand care, world-class specialists and the region’s largest primary care network. Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine encompasses practices in China Grove, Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Locust, Mount Pleasant, and the University area. The staff includes the faculty and residents of the Atrium Health Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program, who help educate future doctors. 

In 2013, Dr. Hall earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Thereafter, he went on to complete the  Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program in 2016. “The ability to train in an environment in which you are truly treated like a junior partner is second to none. It is a wonderful blend of teaching and real world practice that is difficult to find elsewhere. There is also a sense of family not only amongst the residents and faculty but also with office staff that truly make it a joy to be a part of CFM” he stated. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. A family practitioner, like Dr. Hall, is a doctor who specializes in caring for the entire family. They serve as a doctor for individuals regardless of their age and gender. Patients can be children, adults, and the elderly, and are treated for a wide array of medical issues.
