Subsequently, he graduated from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, British West Indies, before completing an internship and residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). He then continued at ETSU for a fellowship in infectious diseases. He was honored to be a Chief Resident and a Chief Fellow during his postgraduate training.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in infectious disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

On a professional level, Dr. Bokor is a very active member of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America as well as the Utah Medical Association (UMA) and has also served as a UMA delegate since 2020.
