Get to know Internist & Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Winston B. Bokor, who serves patients throughout the State of Utah.

A board-certified Internist and Infectious Disease specialist, Dr. Bokor is the Medical Director of Intermountain Concierge Health, serving patients at Park City Hospital in Park City, Utah and across the Wasatch Back. He is passionate about diving into the nuances of health and ensuring his patients have the resources and time they need to live the healthiest life possible.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Bokor completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Mexico (UNM) in Albuquerque, New Mexico cum laude with a double major in Biology and German and a minor in Chemistry. He was also a recipient of Phi Beta Kappa honors. While attending UNM, he was a member of the Lobos NCAA Division I Ski Team and recipient of Dean’s List honors.

Subsequently, he graduated from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman, British West Indies, before completing an internship and residency in internal medicine at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). He then continued at ETSU for a fellowship in infectious diseases. He was honored to be a Chief Resident and a Chief Fellow during his postgraduate training.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in infectious disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

On a professional level, Dr. Bokor is a very active member of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Disease Society of America as well as the Utah Medical Association (UMA) and has also served as a UMA delegate since 2020.

Infectious disease is a medical specialty dealing with the prevention, the diagnosis, and the treatment of all infections. An infectious disease specialist’s practice also consists of managing nosocomial (hospital-acquired) infections.

On a more personal note, he is fluent in both English and German.
