A triple board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist, Dr. Hehn is the Medical Director of Bronchoscopic Services at Jefferson University Hospitals. He is interested in all aspects of lung cancer, interventional bronchoscopy & all procedural aspects of the specialty, as well as fellow education.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Hehn received his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1995, and completed his residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in 1998. Later, he completed a combined fellowship focusing on pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the National Institute of Health.
As a testament of his continued education, he is board-certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Teaching students, Dr. Hehn is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University.
