Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Francisco Ruiz Fullana, who serves patients in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Fullana is a board-certified otolaryngologist who practices at Clínica Las Américas in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He provides various ENT services such as flexible laparoscopy, nasopharyngoscopy, biopsies of the oral cavity and throat, earwax removal, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, nasal septum surgery and sinusitis, thyroid surgery, and parotid surgery.

In the early days of his academic career, Dr. Fullana attended and graduated from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2008. Thereafter, he completed his residency at the University of Puerto Rico, which included two years of general surgery and one year of clinical research. 

With a passion for his specialty, the doctor has taught with the American Association for Cancer Research. He has also attained membership status with the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. 

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose, and throat doctors, specialize in disorders of the head and neck, ranging from hearing loss to cancer.
