Prior to his current position, Dr. Vascellaro served as the Medical Director of Citizen Potawatomi Nation Health Services from 2016 until 2019. He also has personal experience in medico-legal record review, as well as serves as an expert witness in motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice cases.
Throughout his academic career, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1999. He then went on to attain membership status with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.
With a strong foundation of educational knowledge of primary care medicine and years of direct patient care experience, Dr. Vascellaro is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). He has had a wonderful 17+ year career in direct patient care and still continues this to an extent. He also thoroughly enjoys his grown administrative roles, which include taking on the difficult challenges of healthcare administration in modern medicine.
