Get to know Internist Dr. Danil Rafailov, who serves patients in New York City, New York.

Dr. Rafailov is a well-versed internist who is trained to treat and diagnose an extensive range of diseases and illnesses in adult patients. He is in practice with Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center in New York City, New York.

Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that serves all the primary and specialty health care needs of adults and families in the heart of Central Brooklyn. It delivers care at five sites: the medical headquarters on Brooklyn’s Fulton Street, the satellite Broadway Family Health Center, and the three School-Based Health Centers. The mission of BSFHC is “to provide the most professional, courteous and highest quality health care, with dignity, to those we serve, especially the underserved population, without regard for their ability to pay.”

Graduating with his medical degree from Andijan State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan in 1981, Dr. Rafailov relocated to the United States to further his training. He performed his residencies in general surgery and internal medicine at NYU Langone Health and North Shore University Hospital in 2004 and 2008, respectively. 

Having over 40 years of diverse experience, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Rafailov is affiliated with The Brooklyn Hospital Center and Interfaith Medical Center.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
