Get to know Family Physician Dr. Andrew K. Cole, who serves patients in New Castle, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Cole provides family medicine services for Primary Health Network’s New Castle Primary Care, which he joined in July of 2009. 

Primary Health Network is one of the largest community health centers in the nation. One of its medical centers, New Castle Primary Care, offers family medicine, podiatry, and chiropractic services.

A 1972 graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Cole completed a rotating internship and then a residency for the Youngstown Hospital Association (now Forum Health) in Ohio. 

Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania and Michigan, he has medical staff privileges at Jameson Health System and Ellwood City Hospital.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

Pertaining to his professional achievements, Dr. Cole has been the recipient of a Patients’ Choice Award (2014).
