Get to know Hospitalist Dr. Samar Farghaly, who serves patients in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

A competent hospitalist, Dr. Farghaly sees patients at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, an affiliate of INTEGRIS Health, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

INTEGRIS Health is the state’s largest not-for-profit and Oklahoma-owned health care system, with hospitals, specialty clinics, family care practices and centers of excellence. As such, they feel it is their responsibility and their mission to partner with people to live healthier lives.

In regards to her educational background, Dr. Farghaly graduated with her medical degree from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine in Egypt in 1994.

The doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Hospital medicine is a medical specialty that exists in some countries as a branch of internal or family medicine, dealing with the care of acutely ill hospitalized patients. Physicians whose primary professional focus is caring for hospitalized patients only while they are in the hospital are called hospitalists.

Speaking several languages, Dr. Farghaly is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
