Is there a treatment for degenerative disc disease?

Get to know Chiropractor Dr. Amanda J. Foster, who serves the population of San Diego, California. Dr. Amanda J. Foster has been a licensed chiropractor for four years, but she has a wealth of experience prior to that as she served as a chiropractic assistant to her father Dr. Grant Foster. After gaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, she gained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. Dr. Amanda then completed an internship at the Whittier Health Center, and she is also certified in CPR and in adult and pediatric first aid. Dr. Amanda provides a wide range of chiropractic treatments to patients of all ages, helping them gain mobility and overcome injuries and health conditions. She also provides rehabilitation treatments for athletes and personal injury patients. Specialist procedures undertaken by her include chiropractic manipulative therapy with supportive physiotherapy in the form of ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, and intersegmental traction. In addition, she teaches rehabilitative stretches and exercises. Dr. Amanda is an active member of many professional organizations, including the California Chiropractic Association and the San Diego County Chiropractic Society. She has also provided chiropractic support and treatments to patients in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and says that her greatest happiness is seeing her patients leave her practice healthier and pain free.
