Get to know Internist Dr. Ivi N. Kasimati, who serves patients in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kasimati, a skilled internist, is the Co-Founder of 3D Medical Direct Primary Care in Quincy, Massachusetts. His passion for practicing medicine is fueled by the opportunity to connect with people, understand their needs, and apply his skills to help them.
“Through the years, I have realized that there should be a different way to serve the patient. I believe physicians should dedicate enough time to get to know their patients better, and ongoing conversation should exist between them to better serve the patient. Healthcare should not be delivered through a fragmented frame where a lot of information is lost in translation. It is for these reasons and my great beliefs that I decided to look for something different, something meaningful to me, something that will equal my great passions and desires for which I decided to become a doctor and serve people” as stated by the doctor.
An Albanian native, Dr. Kasimati earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine, Tirana in 1999. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his internship and residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2006.
An authority in his field, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

As for his academic appointment, he was a part-time Lecturer on Medicine at New England Baptist Hospital.
