With over 15 years of experience in hormonal medicine and extensive training in many aspects of medicine, Dr. Carr works with patients at his private practice, Carr Medical Group, in Rancho Mirage, California. 

Specializing in hormonal therapy including bioidentical creams, shots, oral preparations and subdermal hormone pellets, he individualizes his patients’ therapy using the best delivery system for them.

Carr Medical Group was founded on the principle of identifying the physiological changes associated with aging and disease in order to restore the body to its optimal level of functioning at any age. Their approach is to identify changes in patients’ physiology compared to where they were in their 20’s and optimize their health by giving back what the body needs. With close monitoring by Dr. Carr and his team, and an individualized approach to treatment, the benefits of their approach is to improve their patients’ health and allow the body to grow at any age, rather than the traditional method of waiting for symptoms and treating diseases as they develop.

Graduating Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Miami, Dr. Carr completed his residency training in internal medicine at the prestigious Cornell-Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

After serving several years as Chairman of Emergency Services at Cleveland Clinic Florida and Medical Director of two Air Ambulance companies, he opened his first hormonal medicine clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina before relocating to Southern California in 2006.

Recognized as an expert in hormonal therapy for men and women, Dr. Carr has helped thousands achieve optimal health using bio-identical hormones. He is an active member of the Endocrine Society and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
