He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital, where he developed his expertise in managing complex cases and delivering outstanding patient care. Dr. Byrne's professional affiliations reflect his ongoing commitment to excellence in his field. As an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Medical Society of the State of New York, the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the American Osteopathic Association, he remains at the forefront of the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology. His board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology assures patients that they are receiving care that adheres to the highest professional standards. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Byrne is deeply committed to medical education, mentoring resident physicians and fellows from esteemed institutions such as NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island and Mount Sinai South Nassau. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, he plays a vital role in shaping future healthcare professionals. Dr. Byrne also contributes to the training of medical students from the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as nursing students from various local programs. Dr. Byrne’s dedication to patient care has not gone unnoticed; he has received multiple accolades for his commitment to excellence.
