After earning his Bachelorâ??s Degree of Arts in Psychology at the University of Texas, he completed his medical degree in 1967 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by his rotating internship at Charity Hospital, Tulane Division, in New Orleans, Louisiana, orthopedic residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Wilford Hall Medical Center/ Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and his foot and ankle fellowship at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Trevino is a retired USAF Colonel and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Additionally, in order to stay up to date on all medical advancements in his field, he maintains a professional membership with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Association, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
