His specialization in prosthodontics was completed at Louisiana State University, where he simultaneously earned a Master’s Degree in Education from The University of New Orleans.

Dr. Penchas also completed a fellowship in dental oncology and maxillofacial prosthetics at the esteemed M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His academic contributions include serving as a clinical assistant professor of prosthodontics at the University of Texas from 1995 to 1996 and as a WREB dental program examiner from 2010 to 2012.

Dr. Penchas is a distinguished member of both the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. A prolific author, he published his first article in the Journal of Dentistry for Children during his senior year of dental school and has since continued to contribute to professional journals. He is also a sought-after speaker, sharing his expertise at seminars for dentists, technicians, and the public.

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Penchas enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, exploring beekeeping, and scuba diving.
