With a focus on non-invasive cardiology, Dr. Peter is an accomplished cardiologist who is a part of the team of professionals working at The Heart House. Offices are located throughout the state of New Jersey, including Haddon Heights, Marlton, Washington Township, Elmer, and Vineland. 

The Heart House is dedicated to providing patient-focused, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care. The providers treat a variety of conditions such as arrhythmias, cardiomyopathy, congenital heart disease, congestive heart failure, coronary heart disease, high cholesterol and lipid conditions, hypertension, rheumatic heart disease, valvular heart disease, as well as other conditions related to the heart. Their comprehensive range of cardiovascular services includes: clinical cardiology, non-invasive diagnostic cardiology, invasive and interventional cardiology, nuclear imaging, electrophysiology and pacing, as well as Heart House Vein Center. 

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Peter received her undergraduate training at Fordham University. She graduated with her medical degree from New York Medical College in 1991 and performed her internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Wanting to further her training, she completed her fellowship in cardiology at Cooper University Hospital.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. 

Alongside her clinical role, Dr. Peter serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
