Get to know Family Practitioner Mrunalini Kavuri, who serves patients in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr. Kavuri is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. The American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) is the second largest medical specialty board in the United States. Founded in 1969, it is a voluntary, not-for-profit, private organization whose purposes include: Improving the quality of medical care available to the public; Establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in the specialty of Family Medicine; Improving the standards of medical education for training in Family Medicine; Determining by evaluation the fitness of specialists in Family Medicine who apply for and hold certificates. At present, she is a practicing Family Practitioner with Primary Care of Palm Beach in Delray Beach, Florida. She specializes in caring for the entire family. Her patients range from children to adults and the elderly, who are being treated for a wide range of medical issues. Primary Care of Palm Beach provides superior health services to the individuals in the communities that they serve. They remain dedicated to putting the patient first and delivering quality, safe, cost-effective, and socially responsible medical services. Furthermore, they measure their success by their patients’ satisfaction, and their return to health and well-being. Dr. Kavuri received her medical degree in 1999 from Mysore Medical College in India. After graduating from medical school, she worked with a voluntary organization in India for about a year, providing services to children and adults in 12 villages with minimal access to medical care. Thereafter, she went on to complete her residency training in Family Practice in Marquette, Michigan. Throughout her studies, Dr. Kavuri learned a lot about the caring and family-oriented approach to healthcare and ever since, she has been implementing and practicing these values. She continuously highlights the importance of preventative care and always strives to provide continuity of care.
