Houston Medical Imaging (HMI) is a radiologist-owned and operated diagnostic imaging clinic offering a full array of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to the greater Houston community since its inception in 1998. Dr. Salehi attended Duke University in Durham, NC for his undergraduate education, graduating in 2005. He completed medical school at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC in 2010. After medical school, he completed a surgical internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY . He then returned to Texas to complete a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston and a fellowship in body imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. 

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.
