Get to know Family Physician Dr. Anielka Rodriguez, who serves patients in Mount Dora, Florida.

Dr. Rodriguez, a board-certified family physician, specializes in comprehensive health care for individuals of all ages. She accepts patients ages two years and up at AdventHealth Medical Group Family Medicine at Mount Dora.

Her advanced certifications, extensive training, organizational and leadership skills, and compassionate approach to care all benefit her patients and help ensure a positive health care journey for each person. 

After earning her medical degree from Universidad Americana in Paraguay Dr. Rodriguez relocated to the United States to further her training. Once there, she completed multiple observerships and clerkships in a variety of specialties as part of her medical training – including cardiology, gastroenterology, internal medicine, clinical pediatric genetics, pediatric emergency medicine, and pediatric and general ophthalmology, just to name a few. She graduated as Chief Resident from her family medicine program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Dedicated to her profession, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. 

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
