In his line of work, Dr. Epstein specializes in addressing various conditions, including but not limited to food allergy, asthma, drug allergy, bee allergy, immune problems, sinus allergy, and nasal allergy, showcasing his expertise in a diverse range of allergic and immunological issues.

Beginning with his academic journey, Dr. Epstein earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Math from Ohio State University in 1974. He then pursued medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, graduating with his Medical Degree in 1978.

Moving on to his professional training, Dr. Epstein embarked on an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center from 1978 to 1979. Following this, he underwent residency in pediatrics at the University of California (Irvine)/Children’s Hospital of Orange County from 1980 to 1981. 

Furthering his specialization, Dr. Epstein completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center from 1981 to 1982.

Board certified in pediatrics and allergy / immunology, the doctor is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement; while the mission of the ABAI is to be the preeminent national organization that provides initial and continuing certification of physicians committed to lifelong learning and exceptional care for patients with allergic and immunologic diseases.
