Can you get pregnant after a miscarriage and before your next period?
Yes, it is possible but I usually recommend maybe 3 cycles & take prenatal vitamins to get the endometrium in proper balance. READ MORE
Transvaginal ultrasound?
It could be a simple cyst. If you are in the younger age range , unlikely to be a malignancy. Can’t totally rule out endometrioma but could be a simple cyst. A Ca125 blood test might be helpful. I think a f/u sono might be a consideration here unless the pain is severe. READ MORE
Frightening?
You need an exam to evaluate. It sounds like maybe old blood. If you are menopausal, a sonogram of the pelvis may be needed to look at endometrial lining. READ MORE

You are not suppose to have cycles while pregnant. You possibly could have some spotting in this situation. READ MORE
HPV?
That is not uncommon to still being picked up. There are a number of HPV viruses some potentially more harmful than others. Some are low risk. She just needs to f/u with her Pap smears & colposcopy ( looking with a microscope) if needed. You can be screened too if you are concerned.
