Having been practicing pediatric medicine for over 40 years in the St. Francisville, Zachary, and Baton Rouge areas, she owns and operates the Pediatric Clinic – St. Francisville. She is also the Chief of Pediatrics at West Feliciana Parish Hospital and has medical privileges at Woman’s Hospital.
The goal of the Pediatric Clinic – St. Francisville is to provide excellent, specialized, pediatric care. Dr. Schneider and her team offer services ranging from daily acute visits and wellness exams to developmental counseling and immunizations. They value the relationships with families and love caring for children from newborns through young adulthood.
Born in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Schneider received her undergraduate degree with distinction from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She then graduated from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans with her medical degree in 1974.
Furthering her training, she completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Earl K. Long in Baton Rouge and Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
Board-certified in pediatrics, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP).
