A board-certified neurosurgeon with extensive experience in spine care and complex spinal surgery, Dr. Testaiuti is affiliated with Coastal Spine, offering his expertise across multiple locations in New Jersey, including Mount Laurel, Sewell, Galloway, Wall Township, and Vineland. With a robust educational background and a dedication to patient-centered care, he is committed to enhancing the quality of life for his patients through innovative treatment options.

Education-wise, he earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in neurological surgery at the prestigious Albert Einstein Medical College - Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, where he distinguished himself as chief resident. His career took a significant leap as he joined the Cooper Health System’s Neurosurgery division at Robert Wood University Hospital, now part of Rutgers Health, where he was appointed as an assistant professor and later became the Chief of the Division of Neurosurgery until 2002.

A key contributor to advancing spine care, Dr. Testaiuti co-founded the Cooper Shriner Spine Fellowship Program, training both orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons in specialized spine surgery techniques. His commitment to excellence in spine care has made him an integral part of the Virtua Health system since 1998, where he played a crucial role in developing the spine program at Virtua Marlton. This initiative was instrumental in Virtua receiving the esteemed Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) certification in spine care, a recognition achieved by only a handful of hospitals nationwide.

Continuously advancing his efforts, he is an esteemed member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Spine Society. His skill and dedication have earned him recognition as one of America’s top surgeons by the Consumers Research Council of America and through the annual “Top Doc” polls published in various medical magazines.

Reflecting on his success, Dr. Testaiuti attributes it to hard work and perseverance. “I believe in focusing on my goals and not allowing failure to deter my progress,” he stated. “Every opportunity is a chance to learn and improve.”
