Academically, she obtained two bachelor’s degrees, one in Biology and the other in education, from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Building upon this groundwork, she went on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the prestigious Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there, as she pursued and obtained a Master’s in Public Health from Temple University.

Completing her residency at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center, Dr. Hoertz refined her skills and knowledge in family medicine, preparing herself to serve her patients with excellence. Throughout her career, she has held various pivotal roles, showcasing her versatility and adaptability in the medical field. From serving as a medical director and physician for assisted living, skilled nursing, and hospice facilities to excelling as an outpatient primary care physician and hospitalist, Dr. Hoertz has consistently demonstrated her capability and dedication.

With an unwavering commitment to her specialty, the doctor is board certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
