Dr. Turner, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, founded Women’s Specialists of Bucks County in Langhorne, Pennsylvania with Dr. Snyder in 1986.

In his current capacity, Dr. Turner is an attending physician on staff at St. Mary Medical Center, Lower Bucks Hospital, and Capital Health Medical Center - Hopewell. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Pertaining to his educational background, he graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1973. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from PCOM in 1979 and completed post-graduate training at the same educational venue and Delaware Valley Medical Center. He served as Chief Resident from 1983 to 1984.

Following his education, Dr. Turner became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, which is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. 

Recognized for his clinical expertise, Dr. Turner has been the recipient of several awards and honors throughout his line of work, including Compassionate Doctor Recognition from 2013 to 2015 and Patients’ Choice Award from 2011 to 2015.

On a more personal note, he and his wife, Dr. Cook, are longtime residents of Bucks County. During his free time, Dr. Turner enjoys playing with his children and dog, as well as riding his bike.
