Get to know Internist Dr. Sudershan Dang, who serves patients in Utica, New York.

An established internist, Dr. Dang works with patients at his private practice in Utica, New York. He can also be found on staff at Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare, and St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

A native of India, he earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi Lady Hardinge Medical College. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
