Growing up outside of Chicago, Dr. Burgeson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in Minnesota at Carleton College. He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, before coming back to Minnesota to complete his residency in internal medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center. Falling in love with the area, he stayed in the Twin Cities and has been in practice in the East Metro since 1992.
