Get to know Otolaryngologist & Head and Neck Surgeon Dr. Samuel C. Weber, who serves the population of Texas. Dr. Sam C. Weber, M.D., F.A.C.S., was Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery between 1995 and 2016, and he was the chief of medical staff at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital from 2003-2004. Dr. Weber is a Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery with the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He currently practices with the Center for ENT. He is also affiliated with Texas Children’s Hospital and The Methodist Hospital. He holds expertise in the management of thyroid and parathyroid disorders, sinus disease, obstructive sleep apnea and ENT diseases. The Center for ENT has been one of the premier otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat) practices in the Texas Medical Center. Taking care to treat each patient with focused attention and compassion, the doctors and staff provide state-of-the-art medical services. Merging classic techniques with the latest innovations in ENT research, we deliver the most effective treatment possible. Dr. Weber graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 1965, giving him over five decades of experience in his field. He then completed his rotating internship with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Followed by General Surgery and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency from the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Weber was staff at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, from 1971-1973 where he was Lieutenant Commander and received a Letter of Commendation; He was the Director of Otolaryngology Research. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He is a member of The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery which is strongly committed to the promotion of professionalism and safe, high-quality care through professional self-regulation. Dr. Weber has been the recipient of numerous awards and is the author of multiple publications. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Association of Head and Neck Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, Texas Association of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Harris County Medical Society, Houston Otolaryngological, and emeritus member of The American Thyroid Association. When not working, Dr. Weber enjoys outings to Galveston with his wife and having lunch with his grandchildren.
